| June 30, 2008 | Medic 10 On Call Schedule has been updated starting with July's schedule. This schedule will be getting back to 5 teams. A hard copy of the schedule will be placed in all medic members boxes and additional copys may be printed from the on call section. | ||

| June 2, 2008 | EMT-Basic to Paramedic Bridge Class will be hosted by Sampson Community College and scheduled to be held at the Spivey’s Corner Fire Department. The class will run Monday and Thursday nights from 1800-2200 hours. The required textbook is the AAOS- Emergency Care in the Streets Paramedic Edition, Author- Caroline. Registration will be Monday, June 2, 2008. Anatomy and Physiology will register the same night as the Paramedic Class The class is scheduled to run from June 2, 2008 through December 2009. This class will offer Testing-Out option for EMT-Intermediate. | May 15, 2008 | A Firefighter I and II Academy hopefully taught by instructor Joel Faircloth of Roseboro, NC is slated to begin during the summer. Exact dates and times will be emailed and faxed for all county and mutual aid departments as well as posted here for anyone else wishing to attend a class. | ||
| May 1, 2008 | The Clement Fire Department passed its state inspection for 9S insurance ratings. Work is in progress to lower this rating at the present time. | ||
| April 26, 2008 | Members Brett Hairr, Ray Autry, Julius Emanuel, Kenny Jackson, Keith Lee, Dwayne House, and Tina Madgar completed the state certified RT Academy that began in the middle of 2007. This academy was taught by instructor Joel Faircloth of Roseboro, NC. | ||
| April 1, 2008 | Clement Fire Department passes initial certification inspection by the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS to be Sampson County’s newest state certified Medium Rescue Provider and Medical Responder unit. We will be working closely with Clement Rescue & EMS to provide the necessary help to Clement and surrounding communities should the need arise. | ||
