The Clement Volunteer Fire Department was founded on July 29th 1974. Our department is located at 3384 Maxwell Rd., Autryville, NC in the Clement community in North-Western Sampson County . Our district spans over an area of approximately 50 square miles of mixed residential, agricultural, and business developments. The department is currently made up of over 36 active members supplemented by a board of directors to provide fire suppresion, emergency rescue technician (ERT) services, and emergency medical services. Through contracts of mutual aid agreements, we also provide services to in-county and out of county departments as well. Medical services are also provided in our district by Clement Rescue and EMS Inc., Plain View EMS and Sampson County EMS. We currently operate 5 vehicles which consist of Medic 10 (Quick-Response Vehicle/First Responder), Engine 1031 (Pumper/Tanker), Engine 1032 (Pumper/Tanker), 1021 (Tanker), and Brush 1041/Medic 10 (Our brush truck and second resource to respond to medic calls.) We average around 400 calls a year. More information will be added as soon as it is gathered.
